On September 10, Council approved a budget to move forward with some exciting upgrades and replacements to the aquatic centre and ice plant at Millennium Place in Work is well underway. During this time the pool will be closed. Millennium Place will remain closed until further notice. Other areas will be available to the public upon re-opening, pending Alberta Heath Services approval.

This depends on the level of support the assisted guest needs direct or fading. Since all children under the age of 8 require the same level of supervision, care provider guidelines are not applicable. Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a responsible person who is 14 years of age or older, at all times while using the recreation centre.
