We love escape rooms and have done about 12 of them previously. This has to be by far the worst escape room we have ever done. Thankfully I had cash on me which is a rarity. The staff seemed very unenthusiastic to have to actually do something and set us up the in room. Most escape rooms have a video or other form of backstory before you enter the room. I wanted to do this escape room with my little sister as she had never done one, so I planned a trip for her to the city from Kingston centered around doing this escape room and seeing a Jay's game. After getting a confirmation email the morning of, we arrived only to find out that "the key was missing" and there was no spare - so we couldn't get in Turns out it isn't escaping the room at EscapeZone you need to worry about, it's actually being able to get into the room to begin with I found out that there was no key via a phone call as I was standing in the rain trying to open the locked door minutes before the scheduled time.

The room was a great choice for beginners, but we did need two clues to escape in time.
