Ottawa, Canada contributions 82 helpful votes. Fun day for families. The park was, while a bit run-down, overall a great fun day. The line-ups were very long for things like the "lazy river" all throughout the day. Other rides were more typical of water parks.

As the park is quite spread out, crowds are not bad. The one attraction which needs a lot more work is the water obstacle course. There are no guide ropes to help you pull yourself up if you fall in, which makes it very hard.

Also, the surfaces of most of the inflatable obstacles are very slippery and some very hard. I fell backwards on one and hit my head on the one behind. Very dangerous! None of the attendents inquired if I was ok or probably never even saw me fall. Also, the food in the concession stand is borderline terrible. The fries are dry and hamburgers not fit to eat.. There is a small sandwich shop which has better quality but the food is not cheap for what you get. The beach is quite nice and provides lots of play area for the little ones.
