Waitress in the lounge was accommodating since we were there just before closing. Bug the waitress in the restaurant the following morning for breakfast stole the show. Great breakie awesome service with a smile. Dated but clean rooms. Nice pub in the same building that we appreciated. Good reasonable place to stay if passing thru town.

Great beef Alberta beef dinner. Night shift staff were loud as were the guests as they passed along the hallway. No washcloths in the room. Understaffed restaurant during peak breakfast hours on a Holiday weekend. Friendly staff. The first room we were checked into had not been cleaned properly but this was resolved by the receptionist on duty at the time and the second room was fine.

Quite a hike into town. Big comfortable beds and spacious room. Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was good. Status: Wordsmith Level 3 Wordsmiths love to write about their trips and keep coming back to tell us more!

No elevator so have to carry suitcases upstairs. The small girl that checked us offered to help us but we declined and managed fine ourselves. The room had an old smoke smell but the linens and towels smelled crease and clean.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room with an excellent breakfast. We loved the hot breakfast but it's rough without elevators. Great if you're able-bodied. Also, the country need smoking lounged due to the harsh weather conditions. I am in shock at the very low standard of cleanliness; finding black mould in around the rim of the toilet and it was not like it was in an in-conspicuous place where you couldn't find it is not very good. Black mould is a huge health concern. There was also some peeling of the boarding in the bathroom above the sink which i can only assume is from water damage.

I was moved to another room where everything looked ok upon initial checks from the lady at reception. Once she had vacated the room I went to use the bathroom and actually noticed dried urine stains on the top rim of the toilet, which neither of us had noticed before. By this time i wasn't going to call down again. Cleanliness is very disappointing. The bed was comfortable and the member of staff very pleasant. This is an old hotel, but we stayed in the new section. Was a nice big room. Friendly check in. Paid for the included breakfast for today, but called down at breakfast done at for a staff member to tell us breakfast was already over and packed away.

Availability

If it is supposed to be open until then that is at least how long it should be open for. Also there was a sign saying the hot tub is not operational. This didn't matter to us, but I noticed that the sign had been there since June 12th currently June 30th. Usually, this is pretty easy to remove with the right cleaner. Comfy bed and clean room friendly staff will stay here again.

The room was overwhelmingly hot. It was a bad sign when we walked into the room and there was a fan on the table. The room backed on the pool so no window to open. The thermostat was off. No ac available. Nice and clean.

Haunted tv at am gave me quite a startle. Staff was sooo friendly and accommodating Even potential ghost was friendly and harmless like a cat knocking something off a shelf in the middle of the night. The room was not very clean. No coffee pot in the room. Hot tub has not worked for a while, no indication upon booking. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good. We were specific that we were there on business only to be put in the room facing the pool, which the door kept being opened and closed by children and you could hear the screaming from the pool Atrium area.

The room was clean, bed was somewhat comfortable, but the coffee maker didn't work even after several attempts to figure out what was wrong with it. Restaurant was very accommodating with Free Coffee. I loved every moment of my stay at Heritage Inn High River. The room and amenities were of a very high standard. It was in a good location- easy access to High River and also to the Highway. I hate to see a nice "looking" property with lots of potential go down the tubes, but our stay was ridden with poor maintenance and housekeepping, and 4 noisy dogs down the hall and eventually below us.

Our first room was next to the dogs, left without owners. A move upstairs put us in a room with a toilet that didn't flush well. A look at another room had a toilet that didn't flush at all. Finally we found a room with things working but no coffee filters or decaf. All this with the receptionist trying to address the problems, with sincere apologies, and the best of professionalism. One caveat: we were told that a school group had stayed a night or two before and likely plugged the toilets and perhaps did other damage.

The high point at Heritage Conference Center was the desk person who wore herself out trying to make things right of an unsatisfactory situation. We were greatly appreciative of her efforts. Once finally settled, we did find the bed comfortable and had a good sleep. Forgot to mention: Breakfast was very good with coupon to order from menu. Also, a partial refund for what we had gone through.

Bed very comfy. Location and staff. We searched out a room that would fit 7 people for our trip to Calgary- one popped up in High River so we thought we would give it a try. We booked for 3 adults, 4 children- the rooms that were available included 2 queen sized beds- we assumed because we had booked for that many people that there would be a pull out bed or cot available. Tiny room, room looking out into the pool-not outside, and my 3 younger children had to sleep on the floor because the room was non refundable.

Running the microwave at the same time as the tv and the lamp would cause the power to go out- the clerk switched it back on for us but then decided to show us where the breaker box was as she said it would probably happen again. We made do with what we had but overall, very disappointed with the entire experience. We were not even asked how our stay was upon check out.
