The windows are definitely the reason to visit this church. These were done by Guido Nincheri and "are among the most beautiful in North America".

I can see why. The detail in the pictures is astounding. Most of them depict some aspect in Jesus' life.

This story starts with windows at the back of the church and also end there on the opposite wall. The colours in the 22 long and narrow Gothic nave windows, 2 in each window opening, are magnificent with the morning sun shining on them. The rich colors of blue, red, gold, and green just gleam. The nave is quite long leading the eye to the raised altar at the front of the church. Unusually, the silvery organ pipes have been placed behind the altar, but the effect is striking.

The ribbing in the ceiling reflects the Gothc construction as do the many pointed arches.

The walls are painted a fresh cream color which blends so well with the warm blond wood tones of the pews and with the gilt applied, ever so discretely, as column trim. The church has the ambience of a more modern church with the rich features of the old. Allow at least 15 minutes to study the windows.
