The noise and shaking woke up, both, me and my 10 year old. Northeast of Montreal. Please reassign these reports to the right earthquake report. I felt My bed shake and I heard a sound I felt an intense vibration in the bed and the house made a hard sound in the foundations and as if something hit the side of the house. My bed Shake. Then the house shake like a big truck was passing for few seconds. Earthquake Haiti. Glass in house making noise. I shaking the bed a bit that is what woke me up. It last about 10 seconds after it woke me up. It was a loud rumbling and shaking at am. Heard a rumble and felt items shake on my bureau.
Felt the whole house shake for a good minute or two. Quite scary for young kids. And at the end we heard a big boum.

Lasted a few seconds. My dog started to pace and u heard a small rubble. Then there was light shaking and out China cabinet started to rattle. Realized what it was!
