Salumi and warm olive appetizers were excellent. Two of us had the duck and two had the veal. Duck was over seasoned and tough although properly cooked. Veal was tasty, but sauce became salty as it cooled. Waiter seemed pushy and unfocused - made recommendations that sounded like they were included, but were an extra; neglected to take everyone's drink order, served half our table and then moved to an adjacent table. Waiter can't sing and shouldn't. Other than the appetizers, next time it will be an evening at Traverna.

For the cost of the meal, the service should have been impeccable! We had a phenomenal dinner experience earlier this week at La Cucina! Chef Jesse Zuber blew away my expectations as usual: the pasta dishes were flawless and full of variety and superb ingredients, great wine list to suit and also enjoyed our cocktails to start, and finally we were absolutely floored by the dessert! Best chocolate dish I've tasted in years.
