Good value for enjoyable Italian food. Looking for a bring your own wine restaurant we found Scala I was very familiar with the previous restaurant in this location, so thought it would be a great choice and nice ambiance. It turned out to be an odd and frustrating evening. When we Once seated no one seemed to be coming to see us for quite a while, and the waiter was busy so we flagged a busboy and asked for a glass of water. He came up and served us then spilled on the table, oddly walked away without a word, so my girlfriend wiped the table only to see the busboy come back and wipe the table and say sorry.

Why he never said he would be right back, not sure. We got to place our order after another 10 mins, and asked that our bottle be opened, yet our glass was not served for us. The Arancini balls were great and tasty, and quite filling. Being in the middle i felt awkward taking a pic. We also ordered a pizza which translates as the heart attack.. Someone came to the table yet not with our order, also waiter asked if we receive our carbonated water, yet we we not aware it was included. This was followed by someone looking around the entire place to try to figure out what table he was bringing the food to.

We got fed up of this lack of organisation and very neutral service. If it wasn't for the waiter who was at least polite and nice, i think we would have walked out. We asked them to bring our meal to go, paid a minimum tip for our waiter and left to eat at home. Pizza was ok, but not special. I wasn't happy with our visit and figure we can easily find better for the same price in the area. I would suggest seriously training your staff if you hire people without experience.

WE had supper there July 7th. Our waitress was very welcoming and in spite of her age, she is a real pro. Unfortunately, my pizza was not good, in fact it was not good to the taste and the crust was soggy! Very unusual for Reservation for 4 people at 7 in the evening at this BYOW Italian restaurant thinking we would have a good meal with our wine. Order was taken within the first 15 minutes of our arrival and the appetizers served within another 15 minutes, after that Ambiance of the restaurant though nice was spoiled by a foursome that were so loud we could not here ourselves.

Food finally arrived and was far from what we expected, you could have had better at the regular take out restaurant. Finally tracked down the waiter to pay and just leave. Very disappointing evening. From the moment we walked in with our group of 8 we were greeted with a huge smile from the hostess and were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

We all ordered different items from pizza to pasta to veal and everyone loved We did not feel rushed considering we were 8 and had a lot of catching up to do. Will definitely be back, very soon. We ordered a few pizzas for take out and each one of them were amazing. Very tasty and we were very happy to have tried this out. Next, we are looking forward to eating at the restaurant itself as the service seemed very nice and Well done guys - bravo!!
