It had eating places near by, but what we also liked was a fridge, stove and all the dishes in our room. The hotel was comfortable and if you needed to stay longer that would be a good place to stay. My husband is from Ponoka and still has family there. Ponoka is best known for their Stampede in July. It was a very short stay so hard to form an opinion. Seems like a nice place with many things to do.

Found it a bit confusing finding things due to being unfamiliar with the area but would be worth another visit to explore things when I have more time to stay in the area. Staying in Ponoka was central for both. My husband and I are not city people and liked the small town atmosphere of Ponoka. Ponoka is a great community. The food is generally excellent no matter where we eat but this time the Boston Pizza was extremely dirty and obviously short staffed although it was only 9 pm. The room was far bigger far nicer than I expected for the price we paid!

Lots of parking, very friendly staff, very comfortable open and welcoming environment. From the lobby to the hotel room everything is really great. Plan to stay there again. Property was clean and staff were accommodating! Awesome location for Ponoka Stampede. I Return yearly! Already booked For next year!
