Hello, I can't compare to Riu as we have not been there. We have however stayed at SSB 9 times- as a couple and more recently with our infant son. Great food, nice rooms, and an amazing staff we have remained in contact with and speak with almost daily. We have also been to Ocho Rios , Negril , and throughout the Caribbean.
I must say, we are a little aggravated at how SSB is splitting the resort into the Oasis. Check my reviews of SSB. If you have any questions PM me. Good Luck!
