Yes we are dog friendly and have had many polite well trained pets accompany their owners. Feel free to inquire regarding your pet. Don, Grace, and their family of 3 children moved to the Island from Saskatchewan in Don was initially from Manitoba but relocated to Sask and pursued his Career in Sales and ended his work career as an advertising Executive in the paper industry. Grace worked in special Education in the school system for many years then moved her love for children to their home where they fostered and cared for many children over the years.

Upon moving to the island, they opened their home to International Exchange Students from a variety of Countries. They have found this to be a great experience over the years. Now they are ready to share their home and hospitality with visitors who would like a home feel while away from home. Don and Grace both have a love for gardening, sightseeing, meeting new people and entertaining.

They also both have a love for animals and upon request will welcome your fur baby if appropriate for their home. We have as part of our family three small dogs, two of which are rescues, two cats both rescues and three Senegal Parrots. In the Comox Valley you can view the snow-capped mountains, the Comox Glacier and minutes later you can be strolling the ocean beaches.

This is the best of both worlds. The climate is the mildest in Canada for our winters and has allowed us to grow a variety of flowers in our many gardens. We have approximately 60 Rhododendrons in a variety of colors, along with an ever growing collection of lilies.

With the many gardens on our half acre property you will almost feel like you are in the country. There is ample off street parking and different patios and sitting areas throughout the property. Very convenient locale. Easy to find. Very beautiful home. We were made to feel very welcome. Owners were kind and friendly. We smoke and they had a beautiful are for us to smoke in outside. Close to shopping as well. The Bedroom was really nice, and the bathroom was big. The Property was beautiful! The Host's were very accommodating and Super Friendly! Friendly and welcoming people. Friendly, welcoming, hosts who included much appreciated late night airport pickup and morning shuttle to ferry.
